HEALING HERBS
for Deep Healing

GINGER

  • One of the world’s most popular and famous medicinal spices. It can be used in cleansing ceremonies. It is known to aid in digestion and help with many sicknesses and has immune-boosting and germ-fighting abilities.

  • It can also help to alleviate fatigue, menstrual cramps, nausea, heartburn, migraines, sore throats, and constipation and it is excellent in providing relief from the stomach flu and food poisoning.

  • It also contains potent anti-inflammatory compounds called gingerols and is a powerful painkiller, which makes it especially beneficial for those who suffer from joint, muscle, and nerve pain.

  • Fresh ginger with apples and celery makes a very powerful energy-boosting and healing drink.

  • Using fresh ginger in your cooking or food preparation will also provide healing benefits and should be added often.

GARLIC

  • One of the world’s oldest medicines, rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C and B-6, as well as selenium, calcium, and iron.

  • It also contains powerful antibiotic, anti-fungal, anti-cancer, and anti-viral properties.

  • One raw crushed clove of garlic contains the antibiotic equivalent of 100,000 units of penicillin. It has been proven to be more effective than penicillin.

  • It contains a compound called allicin, which has been shown to help significantly lower cholesterol and blood pressure by inhibiting the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme within the liver cells and blocking platelet clot formation in the blood vessels.

  • Garlic is also very good for the digestive tract and has a strong ability to eliminate toxic matter from the lymphatic system.

  • Garlic’s anti-inflammatory properties make it vital for autoimmune disorders, weak immune systemsrespiratory infections, and food poisoning.

BASIL

  • Basil’s fungicidal properties also aid in healing wounds, skin rashes, warts, and insect bites.

  • You can purchase creams and salves, or crush fresh leaves in a small amount of coconut oil, apply it to the skin, and wrap it with a fresh bandage daily. 

ROSEMARY

  • Has been used as an antiseptic, antidepressant, analgesic, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, disinfectant, aphrodisiac, and expectorant that alleviates nerve-related conditions, boosts the immune system, fights off bacterial and viral infections, aids respiratory ailments, strengthens digestion, and improves circulation. 

  • Rosemary contains both caffeic acid and rosmarinic acid, which act as powerful anti-inflammatories, making it ideal for those who suffer from autoimmune disorders, arthritis, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia.

  • Rosemary increases blood flow to the head and brain, stimulating memory, improving concentration, and helping overcome mental fatigue.

  • It helps with depression and anxiety.

  • Rosemary oil is often added to hair and skin care products due to its ability to cleanse and nourish the scalp and heal and repair the skin.

OREGANO

  • An ancient medicinal and culinary herb with some of the highest antioxidant activity in the plant kingdom.

  • Vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, B-complex, potassium, calcium, iron, and magnesium.

  • Powerful antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties.

  • It can remove poisons from the body and detox the entire lymphatic system.

  • It can also help strengthen the digestive tract and expel trapped gas from the intestines, easing bloating and abdominal discomfort.

  • Essential oil of Oregano is one of the most potent antimicrobial oils available and is highly effective at disinfecting the air in your home and office when used in oil diffusers.

  • Oil of oregano can help with toothaches.

  • Oregano added to your bath water is highly beneficial to the skin and can help to treat rheumatic pains as well as skin infections.

THYME

  • Thyme is amazing for the brain and headaches; it can be used as a local antiseptic and antimicrobial, and has a powerful ability to kill off bacteria and viruses.

  • It is a rich source of several essential vitamins, including vitamins A, E, C, K, B-complex, and folic acid, and is also one of the best sources of calcium, iron, manganese, selenium, and potassium.

  • Thyme contains antiseptic, antiviral, antibacterial, carminative, diaphoretic, and expectorant properties that support healing throughout the entire body.

  • It also contains a compound called carvacrol, an excellent natural tranquilizer with a tonic effect on the entire nervous system. 

  • Thyme is a good source of pyridoxine, which helps regulate GABA levels in the brain, supports healthy sleep patterns, and benefits neurotransmitter function, while also helping defend against stress-related damage.

  • Combined with algae (spirulina/blue and green), poisons can be removed safely and effectively from the body.

  • It is also a good eye wash for conjunctivitis and dry, itchy eyes. 

  • A few drops of calendula oil can be applied directly into the ear to help ease the pain of an earache.

  • The carotenoids in calendula reduce signs of aging by diminishing the appearance of wrinkles and provide moisture and tone to the skin.

  • On a cellular level, calendula also can help heal the after-effects of radioactive exposure, such as chemotherapy.

  • Calendula cream is also good for sprains, bruises, and varicose veins, as it helps reduce swelling in tissues.

OLIVE LEAF

  • Helps heal immune, cardiovascular, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and lymphatic systems.

  • A warrior that helps fight viruses and bacteria in the body.

  • Olive Leaf can also significantly lower and maintain blood pressure and maintain it.

  • Contains powerful anti-inflammatory properties that help to improve circulation, reduce swelling, and increase energy and flexibility in the body. It is also a great digestive aid and helps to remove excess acidity from the body

  • Contains Oleuropein, which helps to prevent the constriction of arteries, increase blood flow, and improve the functioning of the heart

HORSETAIL
